Yoko
Ono gave a lecture at Memorial Hall, Pratt Institute (New York) on March 25th
2002
Here's what Brainard Carey
told AIU about this lecture by Yoko Ono: "At the beginning of the lecture
she did two performances of a sort. First she said she was trying to orient herself
and decided to move the chair. Moving the chair became a performance in itself
as this series of photos shows. When she finally sat down in the chair the audience
gave her a great round of applause. Then she went into a signature Ono vocalization
for a few minutes, wailing into the mike as only she can. After that she said,
"OK, are there any questions?" |
