What happened
there according to Sun-Sentinel (October 24th 2003): Yoko Ono "encouraged
the crowd at the CMJ Music Marathon not to listen to political leaders because
of their perceived strength, and said people instead should focus on their personal
beliefs. "They're ignoring us," Ono said. "We have to ignore them."

says) "That was all it took. I paired her with Yo La Tengo because I thought
they'd work well together. They have the same sense of musical whimsy. John (Cameron
Mitchell) and I met up with Yo La Tengo at this Brooklyn studio, and we waited
for Yoko. We were really nervous! We didn't know what to expect. But she was really
nice, sweet and funny. It's the first time she's ever sung a song that wasn't
written by her or John Lennon. And she was great. A few hours later and she was

From HarkTheHerald.com: "The Orem-based
Studio A Children's Choir won the grand prize at the John Lennon Dream Power music
festival in Tokyo, Japan, Oct. 2. Twelve members of the choir auditioned in the
original music category with six other finalists in front of a panel of judges
including Yoko Ono and The Beatles former producer, George Martin."

snippets will be released this autumn. Yoko Ono, the executive producer: "Compiling
