more about the upcoming hell in paradise remix
Billboard (May 16th 2004): "In 1985, Yoko Ono released "Hell in Paradise." The disco/rock jam, which appeared on the artist's Bill Laswell-produced album "Starpeace," peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Fast forward to now, and "Hell in Paradise" is the latest vintage Ono track to be remixed for today's club culture. (--) According to Mind Train managing director Rob Stevens, a second batch of remixes may surface around election time. "OutKast and Jay-Z have both expressed an interest in working on new versions of the song," he says. "But nothing is confirmed." Wholly confirmed are remixes of yet another Ono recording: "Every Man Has a Woman Who Loves Him," which is culled from John Lennon and Ono's 1980 album "Double Fantasy."

john lennon 's visual art to colorado
Rocky Mountain News (May 15th 2004): "When Ono first put Lennon's artwork on the road in the '80s, she drew fire for exploiting his legacy. Time has shown her to be a visionary; the Beatles' work has been honored, remastered, expanded and revered, much of it following the trail Ono blazed. "I'm very glad that this is such a success," Ono says, but notes it's still "50/50 for some people about what I'm doing. I can't be worried about that, you know?"

imagine: the art of john lennon in london
The Observer (May 9th 2004): "In this London preview, we not only see the late Beatle's perspective on various aspects of his life - the famous bed-in for peace, his wedding and honeymoon, hanging out in a hotel room - but there's also a welcome insight into more personal and intimate moments. In Watch the holes Yoko, a giant John protectively guides a dwarfish and scared looking Yoko around gaping potholes, and in Yoko with cat, she sexily bends over, topless and high-heeled, to stroke the animal."
