in information about a photograph exhibition in Nagoya City Museum, Nagoya, Japan
(November 5th 2005 - January 15th 2006) Press release: "Japan
of the 1960's that faced mass society situation under high economic growth. While
national events such as the Tokyo Olympics and Osaka expositions were held, rebellious
movements such as Vietnamese anti-war movements and the university disputes, etc.
by young people have risen. Young avant-garde artists who demanded a new art expression
in such an age went out from the museum and the art gallery to the streets exceeding
the frame of an existing art. High Red Center (Jiro Takamatsu, Genpei Akasegawa,
and Natsuyuki Nakanishi), YOKO ONO, Nam June Paik, Ushio Shinohara, Kanko Geijutsu
