1971

john lennon & yoko ono special interview (1971)
Toshiba/Apple 7inch vinyl single. Only 1,000 copies were distributed to the ones who sent the postcard which accompanied the (Japanese?) album releases of John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band or Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band. The interview was recorded at the Teikoku Hotel in Tokyo in 1971. Reissued in 1998 on the Japanese John Lennon box.

 

1972

The interview was recorded in New York City in 1971. Reissued in 1998 on the Japanese John Lennon box.

 

1983

heart play (unfinished dialogue)
A recording consisting of excerpts from conversations between John Lennon and Yoko Ono from 1980 they discuss Double Fantasy and Milk & Honey, life in general, their history together... Some of the dialogue material was also published in David Sheff's famous Playboy interview with the couple from 1980.

 

1998

In 1998 Jody Denberg produced a promotional disc for Capitol tied to the John Lennon Anthology. This CD includes an interview with Yoko as well as these songs from the John Lennon Anthology Real Love, Watching The Wheels, Happy Xmas and I'm The Greatest.

 

2000

starting over
Again, in 2000 Jody Denberg produced a promotional disc for Capitol, this time tied to the reissues of the Lenono albums (John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, Double Fantasy). This promotional CD includes an interview with Yoko Ono as well as two tracks from each of the three album reissues (Remember (Lennon), God (Lennon), Imagine (Lennon), Gimme Some Truth (Lennon), Starting Over (Lennon) and Walking On Thin Ice (Ono). Also a section titled John Lennon Spoken Words with soundbites of John Lennon talking is included on the promo CD.

 

2004

yoko ono: yes box
Released on June 11th 2004 by Bakhåll: "This box contains chosen samples of the artworks of the (YES Yoko Ono) exhibition together with Yoko's own commentary. The box contains the following items:

1. SOUL GOT OUT OF THE BOX - a 32 page booklet presenting some of the artworks from the exhibition.

2. INTERVIEW CD - a CD with a recorded interview with Yoko Ono giving her inner thoughts on many of her artworks. The interview was conducted by Bakhall's publisher Orjan Gerhardsson in Yoko's home in New York on February 28, 2003. Playing time: 18 minutes 13 seconds.

3. SONG CD - a CD with two songs from Yoko's album Blueprint For A Sunrise: "It's Time For action" and "I'm Not Getting Enough". Playing time: 7 minutes 30 seconds.

4. A CARD WITH A HOLE - ... with the text "A hole to see the sky through" - a replica of Yoko Ono's artwork from 1964."

Released in November 2004 by Capitol. In October 2004 Jody Denberg interviewed Yoko Ono about the John Lennon albums Acoustic and Rock and Roll. The promotional CD includes the interview as well as tracks from the albums (Love, Cold Turkey, John Sinclair, Imagine, Real Love, Be-Bop-a-Lula, Stand By Me, You Can't Catch Me, Just Because).
