recording of the 1960s hit Wake Up Everybody would be released
on August 16, 2004. The Wake Up Everybody track features a wide variety
of todays hottest hip-hop, R&B and rap stars. Among the standout performances
are Missy Elliot, Jamie Foxx, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Jaheim, Faith Evans, Claudette
Ortiz (City High) and Nate Dogg. The full CD features tracks including Give
Peace A Chance 2004 by ONO, Talkin Bout A Revolution by
Ben Jelen, Why? Whats Goin On? by the Roots, Stop
The Fighting, by Ellie Lawson, Hell To Pay, by Bonnie Raitt,
Freedom, by Jurassic 5 and Change The World by Babyface
and Eric Clapton, and will be available in stores throughout the country on September
21. Give Peace A Chance 2004 features a new set of verse lyrics, written post
9/11, and delivered in spoken word by ONO, while the chorus highlights the group
vocals from the original 1969 recording. The Orange Factory remix brings the whole
piece into the 21st century. All proceeds from Wake Up Everybody
will benefit America Coming Together
