i remember seeing the news about the amsterdam hilton on the bbc and thought of how ridiculous the situation was where the police manhandled demonstrators who were peaceably protesting for peace,

the power of the state lies in it's monopoly over the use of force.

real power lies in the people but they must exercise that power as they did in eastern europe moscow and tianneman square.
