A very very Happy Birthday Yoko (belated here but...) We do love you very much.
Each day we make a contribution, in what ever big or small way, towards world
peace and understanding, we also say; i ii iii
Yoko (and John). Live long and bloom bright. R.
D. Eckart Lancaster, CA Dear Yoko, What
more can I say than Happy Birthday, thank you for the years of inspiration you
have given the world. You have certainly been a constant presence in my life,
and this is evident in the artwork i produce. Without you in so many people's
lives, everything would be that much more dull. Thank you for giving so much positive
energy. amira.h. Adelaide, South Australia Happy
birthday, Yoko! I want to thank you so much for the positive effect you've had
on my life. Your music helped me keep my sanity growing up gay in rural Arkansas,
and Season of Glass and It's Alright capture brilliantly how I felt when my first
husband died. You sometimes worry that regular people aren't
getting what you're doing. So you might like to know that I played "John
and Yoko" from Wedding Album in its entirety for my new love, Jason. He has
no art background, no acquaintance with avant-garde art, yet he found it as beautiful
as I do, and he told me that it captures our love and intensity perfectly. Thanks
for signing my CD at Borders. You look beautiful. A lot of people think they're
paying you a compliment by saying you look younger, but that's just being ageist.
You do look your age, and you're proving that seventy-four is as beautiful as
twenty-four. I think the perception of you being younger comes from the fact that
you still have your fire and curiosity intact; few people can keep that past thirty,
let alone as long as you have. It must be awkward for you
to get so many personal messages from perfect strangers, but you have given more
of yourself to us in your art than most artists ever do. Anyway, thank you again,
and happy birthday. :) love, Mike Russell Happy
birthday Yoko and thanks for all you bring to me with your words, your music,
your presence, your silence, your love... You have the power to attract what you
wish, Wish for health, wish for joy. Remember you are loved. Love, Alfonso Barcelona,
Spain Hi Yoko, Happy birthday
for the 18th. Hope you had a great day. I've spent my whole life being
told by my friends how like you I am. The reason I believe is the fact that we
were born on the same day even though there were some years in between. I was
born 02/18/1958. Needless to say I think you are great and such a wonderful
light in the world. Again the happiest of birthdays to you. Your star
brother on the other side of the world, Sydney Australia. Tony Scheeren happy
happy birthday, yoko. i'm guessing you are so busy you will read these late if
at all, so i hope you forgive my tadiness. i always tell people how great you
are. i'm glad you are in the world. i think you have a great sense of humor. my
mom was japanese and she always told me you came from a great family and are a
fantastic artist. your grapefruit book makes me giggle. peace
