 birthday greetings to yoko

 Ms. Ono,

I don't know that I would have remembered your birthday Saturday, had I not happened into a coffee shop where a birthday celebration was taking place. I wracked my brain to decide who's special day it was, and as soon as I was aware of the date, I recalled that it was your birthday.

Of course, there was a birthday girl who was physically present -- the guitar player's wife with the beautiful name of Grace. And she's very dear.

I'm sure you don't think much of birthdays one way or the other, but I want you to know that there are some of us out here thinking of you. You have brightened many a day for me. Thank you.

Love,
Daisy

Merci Yoko!

I was in Théâtre du Chatelet yesterday, I really appreciated and felt Love all around!

Thanks to Sean and Vincent also!

A bientôt!

Congratulations for your performance this evening to the Chatelet Theatre...

I knew you only as the wife of John Lennon... But I discovered also an artist this evening. And it was very good to see you with your son on the scene.... Happy Birthday Mrs.Yoko ONO...

Gildas from Bagneux
I was at the theatre tonight!!!

Hi, Yoko, I know you say you don't put much priority on birthdays or other arbitrary dates and numbers, so I'll just celebrate your life and say "Thank you." I'm an openly gay teacher in a rough inner-city public school in Philly, and your creations help me keep my optimism and sanity in that environment.

So have a happy life. I love you.
Mike Russell

Hello Yoko,

You truly are an icon in this world full of emptiness and commercialism. Every word that you speak, as brief as it may be, truly reveals more than the longest novel written. The most profound thing that I have ever heard was said by you and will always stay with me till the day I die: "My name is Yoko and that is all that I know of myself" -Yoko Ono from Fluxus documentary

Thank You and have many more special and meaningful birthdays.

Sincerely,
Roberto Ramirez

Dear Yoko,

Thank you for the beautiful present you gave us on your birthday. I was very touched by your show. Thank you for giving us a chance feel the essence of life. The essence of life is being living in a process to dying... going back to the earth and sea. And during our life, what can we do as a person who is alive and taking a part in our society. Very good performance by Sean Lennon and Vincent Gallo. You are very lucky to have a son who fully supports you in your show. Many thanks again and this show gave me the inner strength!
