yoko i
do not know much about you but hope you will have HAPPY BIRTHDAY it's really
good to be alive mavis Dear
Yoko here's a song I'm singing right now for you, against the wind, against the
desk, against the sky, against the kitchen, against the wall, because I think
it expresses all the wide range of feelings you raise in most of us. Marianne
von Willemer wrote it in 1815 and Franz Schubert added the music in 1821. Can
you hear us? What means this stirring? Does the East
wind bring glad tidings? The refreshing movement of its wings Cools the
heart's deep wound. It plays gently with the dust,
Raising it in fine small clouds. And drives the happy swarm of insects
Into the shelter of the sprays of vine. Gently
it softens the sun's brazen glow, And also cools my hot cheeks, Kissing
in its flight the vines That thrive on field and hill And
Its soft whisper brings me A thousand messages; A thousand kisses will
surely greet me Before the hillside darkens. Ah,
the true message of the heart, The breath of love rekindled life Comes
from your mouth. Thank you for everything Jorge Dear
Yoko, I don't know what to say other than the fact that you are a beautiful
woman and an inspiration to the world - or at least you should be. It's so beautiful
to see such a strong and brave woman making a statement for so many years. Remember
to always keep fighting, but also to keep smiling [at least on the inside], cause
that is truly what this world is for. Happy Birthday! Love
you, Tash Lahera Peace and
love to you and everyone. I love you. Brandi Happy
Birthday Yoko! You are beautiful.
Gina Dear
Yoko, all my best wishes to your birthday and many returnings of the day. You
are the strangest woman to me, but you are wonderful.

into the brightest flower sending you the odour of the many winds you made us
see with the sounds of peace)-Happy shining on your 73th Earthday,

Well here it is YOUR birthday but I've been getting presents from you for
35 years now in the forms of soul-stretching creativity in so many media....as
much as I love all your work, it is your music that moves me most. I hope your
73rd birthday sees you with loved ones, music in your heart, and then the next
day putting the finishing touches on your next studio album so it can come out
in time for MY 53rd birthday in August! I know you are human like me,
so I do not put you on a pedestal. But it is so very clear to me why John's soul
would have resonated with yours.....I just wish he could be here to watch you
blow out the candles. John Starnes Dear
Yoko, showing photographs of the Olympic's opening to my
5-year-old boy, he was asking me, who the sweet woman (sic!) is. And again I did
tell him a bit more about you, even, that you will become 73 years old next day's.
What he did reply to me: "Hm, she's the youngest Granny I've ever seen"!
Well, he's right. Isn't he? Dear Yoko, be sure, that your
arts & music and your spirit will always be part of our family. We
wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and as much health and inspiration as you can carry!
Hope to see you, soon! 5x i ii iii from
